7amleh Launches "Digital Defender," Its First Bilingual Educational Game to Promote Digital Safety Among Children

July 6, 2026,  7amleh - The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media has launched “Digital Defender”, it’s first bilingual (Arabic and English) educational digital game, designed to help children develop essential digital safety skills through a fun and interactive learning experience.

The initiative comes at a time when children are spending increasing amounts of time online while facing growing challenges related to privacy, digital safety, harmful content, and online scams. These challenges make digital literacy and safe internet practices more important than ever for children, parents, and schools.

The game takes children on an adventure filled with missions and real-life challenges alongside “Khaled”, a curious student, and “Pixel”, a friendly digital assistant, who guide players as they learn how to protect their privacy, create strong passwords, identify suspicious links, navigate online games and digital platforms safely, and make smart decisions in the digital world.

Designed for children aged 7 to 14, “Digital Defender” uses a play-based learning approach, guiding players through interactive levels that introduce key digital safety concepts in an engaging and accessible way while encouraging critical thinking and responsible online behavior.

Maria Zahran, Programs Manager at 7amleh, said: “Digital Defender is part of 7amleh's broader efforts to advance digital rights and build a safer digital environment by developing educational tools and resources that strengthen digital awareness across different communities, especially among children. We hope this game will empower children with practical skills that help them engage with the digital world safely and confidently."

“Digital Defender” is available free of charge in Arabic and English, on Android, iPhone (iOS), and through a web version, making it easily accessible for children, parents, and schools to use at home or in educational settings.

To learn more and start playing, download the game from Google Play or the App Store, or access the web version.
