This workshop is part of 7amleh’s ongoing efforts to build the capacity of Palestinian civil society in digital security, digital activism and campaigning throughout the West Bank, Israel, Jerusalem and Gaza.

7amleh - The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media held a workshop on digital security and threat-modeling for journalists on 9., 16., and 23 June 2020. Five journalists were trained on digital security specifically for journalists. The participants stressed how this workshop helped them learn new skills that are relevant for their work as journalists and learned new techniques they so far weren’t familiar with. Due to the coronavirus and movement restrictions, this training was held entirely online.
