7amleh Receives 2026 EFF Award for Advancing Palestinian Digital Rights

September 10, 2026,  Yesterday, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) awarded 7amleh one of the 2026 EFF Awards in recognition of its vital work ensuring that technology supports freedom, justice, and innovation for all people. 7amleh is also honored to be named alongside this year's other awardees: Access Now, DeFlock, and New Media Rights.

For over 30 years, the EFF Awards have recognized key leaders in the fight for freedom and innovation online. The awards honor specific and substantial technical, social, economic, or cultural contributions across a range of fields, including journalism, art, digital access, legislation, technology development, and law.

EFF is a leading nonprofit organization defending civil liberties in the digital world. Founded in 1990, EFF champions user privacy, free expression, and innovation through impact litigation, policy analysis, grassroots activism, and technology development. Its mission is to ensure that technology supports freedom, justice, and innovation for all people worldwide.
