7amleh conducts gender-sensitive digital security training for trainers

7amleh trained 12 trainers on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) an digital security last weekend. The topics focused on the implementation of workshops in digital security with a gender perspective. Therefore, general digital security tools were combined with a gender-aspect. When does harassment start, what can be done in case of sexual harassment and sextortion.

Trainers were trained on how to protect privacy and deal with trainees that have in the past or are at the moment suffering from any form of GBV online and where to direct them. The training was led by Sohbi Khatib, with the presence of Mohaila Shomar, the director of Sawa Center, which supports victims of GBV.
