Join us on 19 Janaury, 2017 at the Red Crescent Society in Ramallah. This platform will discuss the challenges being faced by the Palestinian civil society, and digital activists working on the Palestinian case worldwide in a positive and constructive manner.    

As the issues around digital rights and security are becoming ever more pressing in Palestinian media and civil society, it became clear to us that there is a need to come together as civil society organizations, both from Palestine and from abroad, in order to;

-Provide a platform in which to discuss the challenges being faced by the Palestinian civil society, and digital activists working on the Palestinian case worldwide in a positive and constructive manner;

-Provide a space for learning from one another’s experience and expertise in order to develop social media activism inside and outside Palestine, and to tackle the serious threats being faced by activists working locally;

-Cooperate to find solutions by linking the work of local, grassroots organizations and movements to their relevant international counterparts.
