In The Shadow of Shahid (Martyr)

Photographer Mohammed Badarne and designer Bassam Lolo published these images of Palestinian families in Gaza that were killed during the Israeli aggression of Operation Protective Edge. Artistic and cultural projects such as this are an important way to raise awareness of the issue of Palestine to an international audience, and to allow an emotional release for Palestinians in the OPT, Israel and the diaspora.
