In the wake of recent events in Gaza, the world has witnessed one of the most destructive humanitarian crises in recent memory. As the situation has evolved, it has become increasingly evident that major online platforms play a pivotal role in shaping global perspectives and responses to the crisis.
Our webinar will address three major impact areas and their ramifications on Palestinian digital rights, those are: Major platforms' content moderation policies and their impact on Palestinian digital rights, the European Digital Services Act (DSA) and its implications on Palestinian digital rights, as well as the internet outage in Gaza and its impact on the people.
Our panel of experts, representing diverse backgrounds in digital rights, international policy, and academic leadership, will offer unique perspectives on the current situation.

Mona Shtaya is a non-resident fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP).
Christoph Schmon is the International Policy Director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)
Ahmad Alsadeh, Ph.D. is president of the Internet Society Palestine chapter and dean of Birzeit University's Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
