Call for Writers - Position Papers on Human Rights & Digital Rights Issues

7amleh is currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic writer to develop one or more position papers with us that will be tools for human rights defenders to use in their advocacy and policy work.

7amleh - The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media’s work is focused on Palestinian digital and human rights. As a part of our advocacy programme, we work to bring understanding and raise through concise position papers. The target audiences are policy makers, lawyers, civil society, academics, journalists and activists. 7amleh is currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic writer to develop one or more position papers with us that will be tools for human rights defenders to use in their advocacy and policy work. Position papers are 4 pages and include context / situational analysis and recommendations related to a specific topic.

The topic for this call is: - Legal framework for Palestinian Data & Privacy Rights - Digital ID and Palestinians - Content Moderation & Counter Terrorism

The writer will work with 7amleh’s staff to develop sufficient context, analysis and recommendations for policy makers.
